the hazlett yearly

It’s my birthday tomorrow and, as always, I am thinking.  On Sunday it will be the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and I think back on how I had just started Cambridge House that month.  I had my whole secondary level of education ahead of me and now ten years on, things haven’t really gone according to plan.  That’s if I ever really had a plan!  The people who were in my year at school are growing up but I feel like I’m stuck.  Some people have had kids, others are getting engaged and at least one has got married a week or so ago.  I still feel too young to do those things yet, and I can’t get my head around them wanting to settle down so young, but they still bug me.  I wish I knew were to go from here!  I wish I had some sort of idea or ambition.  I need to think…
